Jordon Andrade joined the Florida State University Libraries in August 2010. He is the E-Science Librarian and the liaison for Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

Currently, Jordon is the co-chair of the Faculty Senate Library Committee's Scholarly Communications Task Force and serves on the Libraries' Institutional Repository Implementation team. Additionally he is spearheading the Libraries' E-Science initiative. As part of this initiative, the FSU Libraries are working with High Performance Computing @ FSU to address research mandates on data management planning.
Jordon studied natural science at the University of South Florida and earned a Masters in Information and Library Science at Florida State University. He is a member of the Special Library Association (SLA).
He has a strong interest in the changing nature of scholarly communications, particularly the role that data and computing technology play in the life-cycle model of research.
