Marcia Gorin is the liaison for Social Work, Political Science, Economics, International Affairs, and government documents. She has a broad interest in all social science areas and particular expertise in government information.
Marcia has worked at Strozier Library since 1988 and has extensive experience working with government documents. She has primary responsibility for the Libraries' Documents collection, which now includes documents from the federal government, the state of Florida, and the United Nations.
She received her B.S. in Psychology from Long Island University and her M.A. in Library and Information Services from the City University of New York, Queens College. She began her career at the New York Public Library, working there for seven years in the Technical Services Department. |
