Michael Luesebrink has been a member of the University Libraries' faculty for fourteen years. Currently he is the head of the Monographs Acquisitions Unit in the Libraries' Technical Services Divison. Previously he worked in public services at Dirac Science Library and at Strozier Library. His outreach responsibilities include serving the teaching and research interests of the School of Communication.
After graduating from library school at San Jose State University in 1995, Michael was a corporate librarian for Shaman Pharmaceuticals in San Francisco. While at Florida State University, he received his Ph.D in Information Studies.
His research interests include organizational communication and culture, data privacy and security, intellectual property, e-science, and scholarly communication.
