Friends of the FSU Libraries support the University Libraries in special projects such as strengthening Special Collections, digitizing unique holdings, and enhancing the library environment.
The Friends also host and participate in special events showcasing the Libraries and their pivotal role in the university community. Membership in the Friends offers tangible benefits as well as networking and volunteer opportunities. The group is also a cosponsor of the Florida Book Awards.
As a member of the Friends of the FSU Libraries, you can borrow materials from the FSU Libraries’ circulating collections and use library services and facilities. As a Friend, you also receive a 10% discount at the FSU Bookstore on most items. Friends get advance notice of and invitations to events such as the annual dinner, Brown Bag Luncheon Series, receptions, exhibit openings and other special programs.
