Commercial Solicitation

To avoid disrupting those persons studying in the FSU Libraries, no commercial solicitation is permitted in any of the libraries with the following exceptions:

A single, approved coffee and food vendor may conduct business in the lobby of Strozier Library. That vendor is approved by the Director of University Libraries and signs a contract with FSU Libraries to provide that service.

The posting or distribution of advertisements is limited to FSU-sponsored activities as outlined in the FSU and the FSU Libraries Posting Policy.

Newsstands may only be placed in the FSU Libraries in limited and specifically-designated areas for the purpose of distributing free daily university-related newspapers of general public circulation. This policy is necessary to avoid the unauthorized removal of subscription newspapers housed in the library.
