Description: L'Annee Philologique is an index of publications related to the history, language, literature and civilization of ancient Greece and Rome. It includes periodical articles, articles in book collections, festschriften, dissertations, and conference papers.



Labordoc
Description: Labordoc contains references to a wide range of print and electronic publications, including journal articles, from countries around the world, on all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development and human rights. Labordoc provides an ever increasing number of links to online publications available on the Internet.


Latin American Open Archives Portal
Description: The goal of this project is to improve access to social sciences grey literature produced in Latin America by research institutes, non-governmental organizations, and peripheral agencies. It encompasses working documents, pre-prints, research papers, statistical documents, and other difficult-to-access materials that are not controlled by commercial publishers. Using the OAI harvesting protocol, the portal service will make these valuable research resources accessible in digital repositories.


Latin American Women Writers
Description: Latin American Women Writers will contain approximately 100,000 pages of prose, poetry and drama by women writers from Mexico, Central, and South America when complete.


Latino Literature
Description: Latino Literature brings together more than 100,000 pages of poetry, fiction, and over 450 plays written in English and Spanish by hundreds of Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and other Latino authors working in the United States. Among the gems of the collection are nearly 800 items (poems, novels, and plays) that have never been published before. Researchers will also find numerous Chicano folk tales and audio files of selected poems and plays. It contains over 133,577 pages.

Description: Provides access to online versions of Law Journal Press print treatises. Includes titles subscribed to by the FSU Law Library.

LawInfoChina
Description: Access in English to the laws and administrative regulations of the People’s Republic of China. Included are over 5,000 full-text English translations of Chinese legislation, 500+ decisions from the Supreme People's Court and Procuratorate, legal news in full text of all news articles from 2000 to date, primary source documents related to the legislative history of regulations, and leading Chinese law journals. Produced at Peking University Law School, updated daily.


Lecture Notes in Physics
Description: Reports on new developments in physics research and teaching (e.g. course notes, seminar workouts) - quickly, informally, and at a high level. Coverage is from 1997 to the present.

Description: Congress produces a variety of publications as a bill moves through the legislative process on its way to becoming a law. A compilation of these full text primary source publications produces a legislative history that is valuable to a wide variety of researchers. Legislative histories enable users to trace the development of a public law from its early consideration to its enactment, including development that spans more than one Congress.


Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe
Description: Full-text coverage of general news, business, legal, governmental and other topics. Also called Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe. Also called Academic Universe.


LexisNexis Statistical Insight
Description: (Accessible only within the College of Medicine) LexisNexis (Statistics) Statistical Insight (aka LexisNexis Statistical Datasets) provides comprehensive access to statistical information. The service allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, then link to the full-text of selected publications on Statistical (Lexis-Nexis) and government Web sites. Statistical Insight (Lexis-Nexis) provides online access to three important statistical indexes: the American Statistics Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI), and the Index to International Statistics (IIS).


Library Literature and Information Full Text
Description: The definitive index in the library and information science fields. Indexes some 220 periodicals and more than 600 monographs per year from 1984-Full-text coverage for selected periodicals is also included. Books, chapters in collected works such as conference proceedings, library school theses, and pamphlets are also indexed. Full-text coverage begins in 1994.


Library of Congress: Authorities and Vocabularies
Description: The Library of Congress Authorities and Vocabularies service enables both humans and machines to programmatically access authority data at the Library of Congress. This service is influenced by -- and implements -- the Linked Data Offsite link movement's approach of exposing and inter-connecting data on the Web via dereferenceable URIs.

Description: Covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics from 1973-


LISTA Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts
Description: Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text indexes more than 600 periodicals, more than 100 are available in full-text plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.


Literature Resource Center
Description: Includes Contemporary Authors, Dictionary of Literary Biography, and Contemporary Literary Criticism Select Provides access to biographies, bibliographies and critical analysis of authors from every age and literary discipline.


London Times
Description: London Times Provides online content from 1985 to present.
