Description: PALMM (Publication of Archival, Library & Museum Materials) is a program of the libraries of the Florida Board of Education's Division of Colleges and Universities (DCU) designed to provide support to individual and cooperative digital library initiatives.


PapersFirst
Description: Provides access to individual papers presented at conferences worldwide. A major research aid covering every congress, symposium, exposition, workshop, and meeting added to The British Library Document Supply Centre's vast proceedings collection since October 1993.


Parker Library, The
Description: The Parker Library's holdings of Old English texts account for a substantial proportion of all extant manuscripts in Anglo-Saxon, including the earliest copy of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle (c. 890), unique copies of Old English poems and other texts, and King Alfred's translation of Gregory the Great's Pastoral Care. The Parker Library also contains key Anglo-Norman and Middle English texts ranging from the Ancrene Wisse and the Brut Chronicle to one of the finest copies of Chaucer's Troilus and Criseyde. Other subjects represented in the collection are theology, music, medieval travelogues and maps, apocalypses, bestiaries, royal ceremonies, historical chronicles and Bibles. The Parker Library holds a magnificent collection of English illuminated manuscripts, such as the Bury and Dover Bibles (c. 1135 and c. 1150) and the Chronica maiora by Matthew Paris (c. 1230-50). Scholars in a variety of disciplines - including historians of art, music, science, literature, politics and religion - find invaluable resources in the Library's collection.


Past Masters
Description: Intelex's Past Masters series is one of the largest\r\ncollections of full-text electronic editions in philosophy. FSU has access\r\nto their extensive database on the history and philosophy of science, as\r\nwell as other philosophical works.


Patrologia Latina
Description: The Patrologia Latina Database is an electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Mignes's Patrologia Latina, published between 1844 and 1855, with indexes. It encompasses the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216.

Philosopher's Index
Description: The Philosopher's Index provides indexing and abstracts from books and journals in the areas of aesthetics, epistemology, ethics, logic and metaphysics. It is also a rich source of material on the philosophy of various disciplines, such as education, history, law, religion and science. Philosopher's Index covers from 1940 to present.


Physical Education Index
Description: Subject index to domestic and foreign periodicals that are published in English. Coverage includes dance, health, physical education, physical therapy, recreation, sports, sports medicine, physical fitness, rehabilitation, and sport psychology. Coverage is from 1970 to the present.


PILOTS
Description: The PILOTS bibliographic database, covering the Published International Literature On Traumatic Stress, is produced at the headquarters of the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in White River Junction, Vermont. The PILOTS database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Its goal is to include citations to all literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events, without disciplinary, linguistic, or geographical limitations, and to offer both current and retrospective coverage.

PSYCCritiques (APA)
Description: PsycCRITIQUES: Contemporary Psychology–APA Review of Books is a database of book and film reviews. It replaced the print edition of Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books in 2005 with the 50th volume. Each week APA releases approximately 18–20 new reviews, which also go into a database of many thousand reviews. The database contains all reviews published in the print edition starting with Volume 1, Issue 1 in 1956.

Description: Online version of Psychological Abstracts, 1887 to present. Covers journal articles, book chapters, books, technical reports, and dissertations, in psychology and psychological aspects of related disciplines. Some links to full text.


PsycTESTS
Description: PsycTESTS is a new and expanding APA database that provides access to noncommercial, unpublished psychological tests, measures, scales, surveys, and other assessments. Users can read the summary and purpose of a test, in addition to a history of its development. In many cases, the test instrument is included. When available, test scope, implementation, development, and validity and reliability data are provided.


PubMed
Description: PubMed, is a service of the National Library of Medicine, which provides access to over 16 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science journals. MEDLINE is the primary database used for getting to the subject content of articles in medicine. There are several ways to get to MEDLINE, including OVID, MD Consult and PubMed. The FSU customized version of PubMed links directly from the article reference to the full article for all electronic journals available at FSU.
