Book Review Digest Plus Description: A library classic for nearly 100 years, Book Review Digest Plus now has select full text dramatically expanding its scope with entries drawn from over 8,000 periodicals covered by other Wilson databases. With coverage back to 1983, Book Review Digest Plus indexes reviews of current fiction and non-fiction, and provides review excerpts and over 100,000 full text reviews. Every book in Book Review Digest Plus appears with all of its reviews together. A single book can have as little as one review citation and as much as a descriptive summary and many reviews with excerpts and full text, depending upon the coverage the book received in the reviewing literature. The database includes childrens books as well as books for adults and young adults.

The New York Review began during the New York publishing strike of 1963, when its founding editors, Robert Silvers and Barbara Epstein, and their friends, decided to create a new kind of magazine - one in which the most interesting and qualified minds of our time would discuss current books and issues in depth. Just as importantly, it was determined that the Review should be an independent publication; it began life as an independent editorial voice and it remains independent today.

PSYCCritiques (APA) Description: PsycCRITIQUES: Contemporary Psychology–APA Review of Books is a database of book and film reviews. It replaced the print edition of Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books in 2005 with the 50th volume. Each week APA releases approximately 18–20 new reviews, which also go into a database of many thousand reviews. The database contains all reviews published in the print edition starting with Volume 1, Issue 1 in 1956.

Biography Reference Bank Description: Biography Reference Bank contains biographical information on approximately half a million people, from antiquity to the present, along with thousands of images. It contains the full text of the articles from more than 100 volumes of biographical reference books published by H. W. Wilson, including all the articles from all volumes of Current Biography, the World Author Series, Nobel Prize Winners, World Artists, World Film Directors, American Reformers, and numerous biographical books on musicians and composers throughout history. Also included are thousands of biographies from other respected publishers, including Macmillan UK, Greenwood, Houghton Mifflin, and Harvard University Press.
