Jacoby Online presents a completely new edition of “Jacoby” — byword for one of the fundamental modern sources of classical scholarship — in a fully searchable and indexed online format. Beginning in January 2007 and proceeding in twice — yearly updates at the rate of about 60 historians per update (approximate equivalent of 1,000 printed pages), each of Jacoby's 856 entries, comprising a total of more than 12,000 pages.

from the UK. Anthropology Plus provides extensive worldwide indexing
of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and
obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological,
and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material
culture, and interdisciplinary studies. The index offers excellent
coverage of all core periodicals in the field in addition to local and
lesser-known journals. Coverage is from the late 19th century to the
present.

the humanities, social sciences and sciences. The gap between the
most recently published issue of any journal and the date of the most
recent issue available in JSTOR is from 2 to 5 years.

FSU has access to their extensive database on the history and
philosophy of science, as well as other philosophical works.

The Patrologia Latina Database is an electronic
version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Mignes’ Patrologia
Latina, published between 1844 and 1855, with indexes. It encompasses
the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the
death of Pope Innocent III in 1216.
