Handbook of Latin American Studies
Contains records describing books, book chapters, articles, and conference papers published in the field of Latin American studies and edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress. Coverage includes relevant books as well as over 1,350 social science and 550 humanities journals and volumes of conference proceedings published worldwide.

ClasePeriodica
CLASE indexes documents published in Latin American journals specializing in the social sciences and humanities. PERIODICA covers journals specializing in science and technology. Together they offer access to more than 300,000 bibliographic citations from documents published in 2,600 scholarly journals published in the Spanish, Portuguese, French and English languages. They contain information from articles, essays, book reviews, monographs, conference proceedings, technical reports, interviews and brief notes published in journals edited in 24 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from publications that focus on Pan-American issues. Coverage for Clase is 1975 to present. Coverage for Periodica is 1978to present.
Global Legal Information Network
The Global Legal Information Network (GLIN) is a public database of official texts of laws, regulations, judicial decisions, and other complementary legal sources contributed by governmental agencies and international organizations.
JSTOR
A database of the back issues of core journals in the humanities, social sciences and sciences. The gap between the most recently published issue of any journal and the date of the most recent issue available in JSTOR is from 2 to 5 years.
Latin American Open Archives Portal
The goal of this project is to improve access to social sciences grey literature produced in Latin America by research institutes, non-governmental organizations, and peripheral agencies. It encompasses working documents, pre-prints, research papers, statistical documents, and other difficult-to-access materials that are not controlled by commercial publishers. Using the OAI harvesting protocol, the portal service will make these valuable research resources accessible in digital repositories.

PRISMA Publicaciones y Revistas Sociales y Humanísticas is a comprehensive reference resource providing full-text scholarly journals in the social sciences and humanities for the interdisciplinary academic study of Hispanic and Latin America and the Caribbean Basin. PRISMA offers key titles indexed in the Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI).
Project MUSE
Provides access to the full-text of more than 200 scholarly journals published by the Johns Hopkins University Press. SUR, 1931-1992
One of the most important and influential literary magazines published in Latin America in the twentieth century. This edition includes images of the complete magazine, including covers, photographs and advertisements (50,000 pages).

Provides access to statistics and publications on member countries and reports on CARICOM meetings and projects. The site contains very valuable information, especially regarding community and economic development and production, for individual countries and the Caribbean region as a whole.

Biblioteca Nacional de España
The Biblioteca Nacional de España (National Library of Spain) is the center responsible for the identification, preservation, conservation and promotion of documentary heritage Spanish.
The Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC)
Provides online access to textual and visual information on a wealth of subjects, including politics, economics, science, arts, and sports. Much of this information is historical.
General Inventory of Manuscripts at the National Library of Spain
Inventory of manuscripts held at the Biblioteca Nacional de España/National Library of Spain. This is the original catalogue published 1953-1995 and includes manuscripts numbered 1 through 9500. Manuscripts starting from Ms/ 9501 are being catalogued online.

Latin American Newspaper Database (University of New Mexico)
Provides an online portal to search news from various regions of Latin America via: SourceMex (Mexico), NotiCen (formerly EcoCentral) (Central America), NotiSur (South America), and CubaSource (Cuba).
PARES
The Spanish Archives Portal is a project of the Ministry of Culture for the dissemination on the Internet of Spanish Documentary Heritage preserved in its network.  The portal offers free access not only to the researcher, but also to any citizen interested in access to documents with digitized images of the Spanish Archives.
Resources for Teaching About the Americas (RETAnet)
RetaNet is an outreach project of the Latin America Data Base (LADB), a part of the Latin American Institute at the University of New Mexico. RetaNet works with secondary teachers, educational specialists, and scholars to make accessible resources and curriculum materials about Latin America, the Spanish Caribbean, and the U.S. Southwest.
Valencian Digital Library
Provides digital access to publications held at the municipal library of Valencia, Spain. Works can be found through browsable lists identified through different subject links, or through a keyword search for the entire collection. Includes the complete works of Gregorio Mayans, an Enlightenment-era scholar who lived from 1699 to 1781.
