Brown bag luncheon programs will be held at lunch time at the
FSU Oglesby Student Union, room 312-13, unless specified otherwise. Bring
your own brown bag lunch, complimentary beverages and cookies will be provided.
An informal question and answer session will follow each program. All

by JACK WINCHESTER, distinguished professor in FSU's Oceanography
Department, who reminds us that "January is a good time for global warming
issues and how the state, nation, and world should react to the latest and most
reliable information we have." That information includes two reports issued
this fall, describing "global warming science, impacts, and mitigation
strategies."

Chambers, the American Dreyfus Case" by BILL SUMMERS, Dean Emeritus and
Professor of FSU's School of Information Studies and, during 2000-'001,
University Librarian. Based on his long-standing interest in this case that has
helped define the expression "Cold War mentality," he will update us on such
issues as intellectual freedom, McCarthyism and related demagoguery.

Shirish Date, local writer and activist CHRISTINA JOHNS has agreed to be
