Dirac Location/Driving Directions

The Paul A. M. Dirac Science Library is located off of West Tennessee Street (Highway 90) approximately 1.25 miles west of downtown Tallahassee. (Map)

Coming from the west

From I-10 take exit #199 (old exit #29) and turn right (south) on Monroe Street Drive approximately 3.5 miles. Turn right (west) on Tennessee Street (Highway 90) and proceed approximately 3.75 miles to Woodward Avenue. Turn left (south) on Woodward Avenue and then right on Call Street at the second traffic light. Proceed past the parking garage and Dirac Science Library will be on your right when the street comes to a dead end. The main entrance is on the west side of the building facing the Dittmer Building. Parking is extremely limited. Please allow yourself plenty of time to find a place to park.

Coming from the east

Exit airport by turning left (south) and staying left for about 1/3 of a mile. Turn left (west) onto Capital Circle. Proceed on Capital Circle for 6 miles until the intersection of Capital Circle and Tennessee Street (Highway 90). Turn right (east) onto Tenessee Street and drive 4 miles to reach Woodward Avenue. Turn right (south) on Woodward Avenue and then right on Call Street at the second traffic light. Proceed past the parking garage and Dirac Science Library will be on your right when the street comes to a dead end. The main entrance is on the west side of the building facing the Dittmer Building.
