Whats New

Welcome to the new subject wiki from the FSU Libraries!

Some new things to look for in the libraries:

We now have two reference desks, one on the main floor when you first enter the library, and one on the ground floor.

Our Virtual reference is now an IM (instant messaging) service just add FSUlibraries or FSUlibrarians as a friend/buddy to AIM, MSN, or Yahoo messenger and IM when you have a question.

This page is all new, look here for updates and changes that are going on in the library. When we get new resources and have new services I will let you know here.

The Librarian will contact you to set up an appointment for research assistance.
Assist in identifying and selecting appropriate resources
Demonstrate advanced search strategies
Help to identify and locate primary sources
Provide guidance in locating government documents or statistical information
Provide assistance in using research databases and other relevant and reliable information
Assist in gaining access to material held by other libraries

Imagine all of the above for a whole class of people.

Master the research process for yourself and your students
Get started on papers and research projects (great for begining level classes)
