During his more than 40 years in the U.S. Congress, Claude Pepper received many gifts such as plaques, certificates, awards from constituents, friends, and colleagues, and he collected mementos of functions which he attended. For preservation purposes, most items were removed from their original frames, then archivally stored. Each item was given a unique number, and entered into a finding aid database. In addition, memorabilia for Mildred Pepper is included in this series. There are over 2,850 memorabilia items.
