Where can I print?

Printers are provided on the ground, main, and second floors of Strozier and Dirac Library. These machines are connected to the computers of the respective floors. Printing requires the use of an FSU card with a positive balance.

How do I print?

Print document selecting the default printer (Strozier Print System)
Enter your Blackboard login at the prompt (FSUID)
Go to any Print Release Station
Enter your Blackboard login at the release station Prompt
Swipe your FSUCard in the card reader next to station
Select documents(s) to print from the list displayed
Bottom of the screen displays FSUCash balance & cost of printing (8¢ for b&w, 15¢ for color)
Select print
Take your printed documents from printer
Jobs in your queue will be purged from the system after 2 hours

Visitor Printing

You may request a guest ID from the library service desk

Get a Guest ID card from the library service desk by showing appropriate identification.
Add $1.00 on the card using the cash to card machine. Please note that you are not refunded the unused value of your card.
Print document selecting the default printer (Strozier Print System)
Enter your Guest ID at the prompt (FSUID)
example: Guest01
Go to any Print Release Station
Enter your Guest Name & password at release station Prompt
Swipe your Visitor card in the card reader next to station
Select the documents(s) to print from the list displayed.
Bottom of the screen displays card balance & cost of printing
(8¢ per page B&W 15¢ per page color)
Select print
Take your printed documents from printer
Jobs in your queue will be purged from the system after 2 hours
Return Guest ID card to library service desk

Reporting Problems

If the card reader or printer fails to print, or takes your credits without printing, please call the FSUCard services department: 644-4843 (You can also report the problem to staff at the reference or circulation desks). The printers and card readers are not owned nor operated by FSU Libraries.
