More Information
The FSU Libraries invite the FSU and Tallahassee communities to participate in a five-part reading and discussion series on Jewish literature.
This program, part of a "Let's Talk About It" series funded by the American Library Association and Nextbook, is designed to offer participants an opportunity to explore Jewish literature and culture through scholar-led discussions of contemporary and classic books on the common theme Neighbors: The World Next Door.
Discussions will take place on Sunday afternoons in the Strozier Library Media Center from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Dr. Martin Kavka, Associate Professor in the FSU Department of Religion, will lead and facilitate the book discussions.
Attend all five sessions or as many as you can to learn more about Jewish culture and identity through literature and to enjoy the exchange of a variety of viewpoints!
Registration is not required and copies of the books are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
