Printing Services

Where can I print?

Printers are provided on the ground, main, and second floors of Strozier Library. These machines are connected to the computers of the respective floors. Printing requires the use of Smart Chip enabled FSU cards (what is this?) with a positive balance.

How do I print?

  1. Note the number on the desktop (background image) of the computer you're printing from
  2. Insert your FSU or Visitor Card into the card reader on the printer
  3. You must have credit on the Smart Chip to proceed. If you fail to insert your card before proceeding, you may delete your print job.

  4. Press the "Job Status" Button (an orange button, located on the upper right of the printer's control panel)
  5. Press the "Private" Button on the touch screen
  6. Select the User Name which matches the number you noted in step #1
  7. Type the password: "12345" and then press "Enter" to continue
  8. Select the Document Name(s) to be printed
  9. Press "Release" and your print job should start

Visitor Printing

Visitors can purchase Visitor Cards for $5.00 in vending machines located in the second-floor Photocopier room and the annex of the ground floor. This reusable card comes with $1.00 worth of credit and can be refilled at the Cash-to-Chip machines (also located in the Photocopier room and annex of the ground floor) as needed.
