SciFinder Scholar

Attention: As of June 30 2011, the SciFinder client version will be replaced with the SciFinder web version. All users are required to create a SciFinder account by following this link:

https://login.proxy.lib.fsu.edu/login?url=https://login.proxy.lib.fsu.edu/loggedin/scifinder.htm

You will be prompted to login first using your FSUID and password. Only current students, faculty, and staff will be able to access and create an account for the SciFinder web version. After logging in you will be asked to create your personal SciFinder account. After your account is created, you can access SciFinder through the database A-Z list, or by using this link: https://login.proxy.lib.fsu.edu/login?url=https://scifinder.cas.org/

SciFinder (Chemical Abstracts)

SciFinder is a graphical interface for searching the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) databases, available in web and client software versions. SciFinder is only available for current FSU faculty, students, postdoctoral fellows, visiting scholars, and staff. Only a small number of people can use SciFinder at one time, so be sure to log off when finished searching. Sessions are ended automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
