The Learning Commons area is in the Strozier Library, first floor.

A variety of spaces, assistance and technology is available to students of FSU.

Expanded access to academic software including SPSS, MATLAB®, and Adobe Creative Suite 4

More study rooms with improved soundproofing as well as glass walls and exterior windows for improved lighting and visibility; the rooms feature SMART Boards, Idea Paint, projectors, and motion-sensitive lighting

Furnishings with wheels and detachable desktops for flexible use

We have had ongoing support from the FSU Student Government Association, which has provided funding for offerings including computers and enhanced academic software, digital media, and popular fiction and entertainment media.

Strozier’s Learning Commons was featured in the Tallahassee Democrat. And yes, there is a brand-new Starbucks at the library, which is open whenever the library is open (24 / 5 when college is in session).
