Alternative Textbook Grant Application Form

Please submit your application using this online form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis after the following application deadlines: October 1st, 2019 (for spring and summer on-campus courses), November 1st, 2019 (for courses taught at our international study centers), and February 1st, 2020 (for summer and fall courses). If you have questions about the application form or the Alternative Textbook grant program, or would like assistance with identifying existing open textbooks and educational resources, please contact us. Maximum student enrollment across your sections of the course by the end of the 2018-19 academic year
Expected student enrollment across your sections of the course by the end of the 2018-19 academic year
If this is a new course, provide the title of the textbook you would have used, if you were not going to use an open text.
Please include OER, editing OER, and library resources. If you have not yet selected alternatives, please let us know and we can provide you with resources to help with the selection process.
Please include estimate of total $ saved per student.
Letter of support must be from your department chair and/or college or school dean. The letter need only indicate support for your application and confirm that replacing your current textbook would not contravene any existing departmental or college policies.
Files must be less than 5 MB.
