About
The Civil Rights Institute serves to spotlight and add to Civil Rights centered collections at Florida State University Libraries. The collections are valuable to the study of the US Civil Rights movement through their emphasis on the Tallahassee and Florida Civil Rights efforts and the Emmett Till Archives. Unique, original materials house in Special Collections & Archives, microfilm collections, and other resources are available to FSU students and faculty but also to the broader community.
