Submission Instructions

Submitting New Work

To submit a scholarly or creative work to the Research Repository, please use the new submission webform. This webform is only accessible to users who have an FSU ID. When accessing the webform, you may be temporarily redirected to my.fsu.edu for authentication.

After filling out the webform and attaching the required documents, you may press the Preview button at the bottom of the page to review your information one last time, or press the Submit button to directly submit your work. Shortly after submitting, you should receive an email confirming that the system has received your submission:

Thank you for submitting {{submission-title}} to the FSU Research Repository. Please do not make any edits to your submission while we process it. Our repository managers will handle this as soon as possible, keeping you informed of all progress along the way via automated emails.

Checking Old Submissions

In order to review your past submissions, log in to lib.fsu.edu and follow the My Website Profile link in the top left corner to see your user page. On the left side of the user page there will be a sidebar labeled Faculty Menu with an entry titled My Previous Scholarship Submissions. This will take you to a list of all the scholarship submissions you have made so far, sorted by date. Each entry will have the ID, title, submission date and status of your submission. Use the status to keep track of where your submission is in the process, and use the submission ID to communicate with library staff about a specific submission.

Updating Data in Old Submissions

Once you have submitted your work, please do not change the information you provided. After submission, IR managers will begin reviewing the metadata as soon as possible. Changing the metadata of the submission yourself may compromise this process, so please send any desired changes along with the submission ID to the Research Repository team at lib-support@fsu.edu.
