- the intersection of open access and commercial publishing; and
- what the future holds for the scholarly monograph.
The symposium will feature distinguished speakers and a number of interactive sessions and panel discussions. Registration is free and participants are welcome to attend the entire event or individual sessions. An Open Access Fair will be held throughout the day to provide attendees with opportunities to learn more about identifying quality open access journals, starting an open access journal, the FSU Research Repository, and Creative Commons licensing.
The symposium will be held in the Robert B. Bradley Reading Room, in the Scholars Commons of Strozier Library on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
