2019 September Constitution Day Celebration
Happy Contsitution Day image

On September 17, 1787, thirty-six of our founding fathers joined in Independence Hall, Philadelphia to sign the monumental document they created together. Florida State University Libraries celebrates the formation and signing of the U.S Constitution with a Government Information display in Strozier library to “recognize all who, by coming of age or by naturalization, have become citizens.” We encourage our students to observe this holiday by exploring our diverse collection of U.S government documents and publications associated with the rights and triumphs of the American citizen. As a highlight of the display, we have included pocket Constitutions so our students can stay informed any time of the year!
