  • Allen Music Library

    The mission of the Warren D. Allen Music Library is to support the learning and research needs of the College of Music and the University, through the provision of materials, access, and services related to scholarly research and performance of music. As a member of the university community, the Warren D. Allen Music Library supports the learning, research, performance, and recreational needs and interests of the University's community of learning.

  • Business Administration

    Business Administration oversees the fiscal management of the Libraries as directed by the Dean. This includes everything from planning the budget to closing out expenditures at the end of each fiscal year.

  • Circulation

    The Circulation department handles the lending and retrieval of library materials. These materials include reserve items, textbooks, journals, and books. They can assist you with renewing items, and borrowing.

  • Claude Pepper Library

    The Claude Pepper Library was established in 1985 as the official repository for the Claude Pepper Papers, a unique and multi-faceted collection of manuscripts, photographs, audio/video recordings, and memorabilia by and about U.S. Congressman Claude Pepper (1900-1989).

  • Collections Access

    Our Collection Development department (Serials & Acquisitions Services) acquire and classify monograph and serial titles in all languages and formats. The University Libraries is committed to making its collections accessible to students, faculty and staff of The Florida State University as well as the broader scholarly community.

  • Development: Supporting the FSU Libraries

    When you give to the Florida State University Libraries, you support the entire university. Each year, over 1.5 million students, faculty, staff and friends utilize the Libraries’ study and research facilities. Many more visit the Library online.

  • Dirac Science Library

    The Paul Dirac Science Library, located on the FSU’s Legacy Walk, has been renovated with new and improved amenities, technology, and seating! From students to faculty and staff, Dirac has a resource for you.

  • Facilities

    Facilities Management at The Florida State University Libraries effectively and efficiently provides maintenance and operational services that support the faculty, staff and students in pursuit of excellence in their individual and institutional academic research and community objectives.

  • FAMU-FSU Engineering Library

    Our primary mission is to give each and every student the very best available service. Specifically the College of Engineering library provides materials, services and facilities to support the needs of both FAMU and FSU engineering students.

  • Goldstein Library

    The Harold Goldstein Library is one of six libraries on the FSU main campus.  Our collections comprise library and information science, information technology and juvenile literature.  However we provide services and support to the entire FSU community.  Our mission is to help bridge access to people and information through resources,services and teaching by promoting learning and research related to Information Sciences, Communication and Communications Science and Disorders.

  • Heritage & University Archives

    The mission of Heritage & University Archives is to locate, identify, record, assist in the preservation of, and promote knowledge about the history of Florida State University and its predecessor institutions.

  • Law Research Center

    Florida State Law students have 24/7 access to the Research Center. Our students can also use virtual reference provided by expert research librarians.

  • London Study Center

    Since 1971, the FSU London Program has offered students from across the nation a fine liberal arts curriculum in an historic seat of Western government, commerce, and literature.

  • Maguire Medical Library

    Providing 21st century information resources to cultivate physicians who are expert learners, problem solvers and agents of change.

  • Marketing and Communications

    The FSU Libraries Marketing Team is committed to producing high-quality branded materials and content to better engage FSU students, faculty, staff, and the entire scholarly community. We aim to tell the story of the FSU Libraries.

  • Metadata and Discovery Services

    The Metadata and Discovery Services Department provide accurate and sufficient metadata so that users can find, identify, select, and access library resources. We connect users with the FSU community & beyond to FSU’s rich resources. We also share expertise in metadata and description to strengthen discovery within and across systems.

  • Panama City Library, Republic of Panama

    The FSU-Panama Branch Library is the most comprehensive English language academic library in the Republic of Panama. It primarily serves students and faculty engaged in undergraduate teaching and learning.
  • Research and Information Services

    The Research and Information Services formerly known as Learning Commons is located on the first floor of Strozier Library. Serving primarily undergraduate students, the Research and Information Services provides a variety of resources and spaces designed to support student academic success and promote social connections.

  • Scholars Commons

    The Scholars Commons, located on the lower level of Strozier Library, offers resources to facilitate study and research by faculty and graduate students.

  • Security

    If you need emergence help call 911
    Library Security staff are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of all individuals, their belongings and University property. Security Staff are located at the entrance/exit area of the Strozier and Dirac Libraries. In addition, Security staff routinely patrol the building. Feel free to ask for assistance at any time. The Security staff can also be reached at the Security Desk (850) 644-5426.

  • Special Collections & Archives

    The Special Collections & Archives Division of the Florida State University Libraries advances research by acquiring, providing access and preserving original primary source materials.

  • Technology and Digital Scholarship

    Providing high-quality technology services, leadership in digital scholarship, and supporting new models of scholarly communication, the Technology and Digital Scholarship department delivers solutions that work in a diverse, fast-paced academic environment.

  • Technology Center

    Tech Center staff will help you with your assignments, troubleshoot your equipment, and checkout equipment you might need such as cameras, projectors, and more.

  • Undergraduate Services

    The Learning Commons is located on the first floor of Strozier Library. Serving primarily undergraduate students, the LC provides a variey of resources and spaces designed to support student academic success and promote social connections.
