Research Icons

Did you know that the librarians at FSU have created a wide range of subject and course guides to help you locate and understand subject specific resources? There are many different subjects covered by our research guides, from individual topics to class guides and even overviews of broad subjects. Currently, we have about 470 research guides in 70 different subject areas.

Each guide pulls together all types of information about a particular subject or course of study. They contain information about our library's resources such as books, databases, and online resources that are relevant to a particular subject (like Psychology and History), a specific topic (such as the Holocaust), particular courses (such as ENC 2135 or MAR5125), and general topics (like citation management and using Canvas).

Click on the “Research Guides” Icon/Link located on the main page of the FSU Libraries’ website. You can filter the guides by clicking on the different tabs and headings on the page. You can even search for the guide you need using different key words in the search box.
