Panama Computer Resources

Computer Use Policy

Computers are reserved for FSU-Panama students, faculty and staff.
All Library computers have Internet access.
Non-FSU patrons may pay a $25 Technical Fee per semester for online access.

Public Research Workstations

There are seven computers located in the library's main reading area with connectivity to the Internet and with access to the library's online catalog. In addition, one computer has Office 2000 Professional NT.

There are 15 computers available in the Computer Lab located in the library. All 15 computers have Internet connectivity and MS Office 2000 Professional Software.

Laptop Computers

Three laptop computers are available to faculty and students for check out. Requests should be made 48 hours in advance either at the Front Desk or by calling 314-0367 x234/239. Students may check these out for classroom presentations with faculty approval.

Printing and Scanning

The Library has two printers for public use. One is a Panasonic printer in the computer lab and the other is a HP Laser Jet 4050 Series PCL, which is at the library front desk. Students have free printing access to the former, while latter costs 5 cents per page. There is also a scanner available in the Library.
