FSU Libraries Special Collections & Archives is closed to the public until further notice. This closure includes the SCA Research Center and Norwood Reading Rooms in Strozier Library, the Claude Pepper Library and Museum, and the Heritage Museum in Dodd Hall. During this closure we are not able to provide in-person research services, instruction sessions, or tours.
We are still available to help you with your research and online instruction needs.

Researchers may continue to use firstname.lastname@example.org to communicate research and reference questions to Special Collections & Archives. Digitized and born-digital resources remain accessible from any web browser in the FSU Digital Library. Class Visits & Instruction Services
Special Collections & Archives can facilitate online class visits and provide resources for asynchronous coursework. To request support for synchronous online instruction, please complete the Class Visit Request Form two weeks or more in advance of the session. For assistance incorporating Special Collections & Archives resources into asynchronous coursework, please complete the Research Consultation Request Form. The Digital Library Center continues to provide digital copies of Special Collections & Archives materials, although delivery times may be longer than normal. Use the Special Collections & Archives Reproduction Form to place a request for copies from the collections.
Donations and Collection Development
Special Collections & Archives continues to review donations and develop our unique collections. We are not currently able to make onsite visits with donors but we would be happy to discuss potential donations with you.
Heritage & University Archives continues to collect materials related to the history of Florida State University. During this unprecedented time, our Covid-19 Community Experience Project, seeks to collect the experiences of FSU student, faculty, staff, and alumni during the coronavirus outbreak.
