Academic Advising

Advising First has an academic advisor located in Strozier Library during non-traditional hours in order to serve the advising needs of any Florida State students, especially those students who may be experiencing difficulty getting in to see their assigned advisor during standard office hours. Students can stop by for quick-stop needs, such as questions about courses, schedules, university policies, majors, and a variety of other topics.

Course Reserve Information for Faculty

FSU faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistants can request for items to be placed on course reserves using our online form. Any items that need to be on reserve for the first week of the semester should be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Reserves requests submitted once the semester has begun will be processed within 5 business days.

Writing Center @ Strozier

A satellite for the Reading/Writing Center (RWC) is available at Strozier on the main floor, next to the reference desk. The RWC offers individualized instruction in composition and reading through one-to-one tutoring and small group workshops. Students may make appointments or walk-in for assistance.
