Assignment Design & Consultation
Library staff are excited to partner with course instructors and lend their instructional design expertise in order to create and meet research-related learning outcomes that support the curriculum. Library instructors can assist in the development of student-centered active learning content and alternative assessment measures to ensure that learners are gaining critical thinking and research skills aligned with course objectives. Reach out to Instruction Librarian, Liz Dunne, to begin the assignment design process.

FSU Libraries welcomes student, research, and public groups to visit our physical spaces and explore our resources! Tours are designed to meet the specific needs of individual groups and typically include walkthroughs of library facilities and highlight key library services.
To schedule a tour, FSU course instructors can reach out to their subject librarian. Public groups looking to schedule a general tour of Strozier library can contact Preethi Gorecki, the Student Engagement Librarian, at email@example.com. Visiting groups looking to tour libraries aside from Strozier can select the library they are looking to visit from our FSU Libraries page and contact those libraries directly.
FSU Libraries seeks to provide learners with a variety of workshops on topics such as best practices for data management and avoiding plagiarism as well as sessions geared towards teaching specific research tools including (but not limited to) SQL, SPSS, coding languages, citation managers, and more.
