Reading and Writing Center

The Florida State University Reading-Writing Center offers writing and digital literacy support to all FSU students. Reading-Writing Center tutors act as a practice audience for students’ ideas and writing, helping them develop their writing in many areas. Additionally, the RWC offers individualized instruction in composition and reading through one-to-one tutoring and small group workshops.
In addition, the FSU Reading-Writing Center provides education in both writing theory and practice and tutoring theory and practice for graduate and undergraduate students who wish to become tutors; supports local and national efforts to promote writing in its various genres and media; and facilitates research in writing and tutoring.
A satellite for the Reading/Writing Center (RWC) is available at Strozier Library in the main tutoring area across from Starbucks. They are also available on the ground floor of William Johnston and in room 222 of the Williams Building.
