This How to Access Online Tutoring with Zoom video will walk you through downloading and signing into Zoom, finding the link to the active tutoring session, and what happens when you log in for the first time. We use the Breakout Room feature of Zoom for our tutoring sessions. The host in the main room is there to greet you and make sure you are paired with the tutor who can best help you.

We also have an asynchronous option for help! To submit a question for our tutors to answer, use the Submit a Question form. Questions submitted Sunday through Thursday will usually be answered in less than 24 hours.

If you encounter a problem or have a question about the service in general, email

March 2020 Policy update for online tutoring: Per the university's recommendations and our own academic standards, tutors will ask students to verify the source of the problem they are assisting with or question they are answering. Tutors will not assist with the completion of graded assignments. If further verification or clarification is needed, a tutor may ask students to briefly share their screens to show what they are working on or to hold up the appropriate page of the textbook they pulled the problem from.
