Resource Sharing: UBorrow & Interlibrary Loan

What are Interlibrary Loan and UBorrow?

These two services are just more ways you can get material delivered from other libraries. Interlibrary loan has access to thousands of different libraries across the country, with requests from international libraries on occasion, while UBorrow is a similar service just for Florida’s state university and college systems.

UBorrow

UBorrow allows you to request materials directly from participating libraries within Florida's state university and college systems. This unmediated borrowing service increases your access to the collections of the other universities and colleges in Florida and delivers more quickly than standard Interlibrary Loan.

Requesting materials through UBorrow

To locate items from other institutions, search FSU Libraries OneSearch or expand your search in the search bar to include “Statewide Catalog”. Items not available for loan at FSU Libraries will include a link to complete the UBorrow form, shown in the above video.

Remember to sign-in so you can see all available options under the How to get it section!

Log in to your Interlibrary Loan account to place new requests and monitor your ILL activity. If you haven’t registered for an ILLiad account, when you first try to access the request form, you will be asked to fill out a registration form.

Can't login? Complete and submit the Interlibrary Loan Account Assistance form and someone will be able to help you login.
