The printers and card readers are neither owned nor operated by FSU Libraries. If the card reader malfunctions, printer fails to print, or takes your credits without printing, please reach out to the Office of Business Services: 850-644-7777 or the Office of Business Services Service Request Form

Printers and copiers can be found across the FSU Tallahassee campus. See locations to find the printer or copier closest to you.

Strozier printers are provided on the ground, main, second and third floors (color printers available on the main floor). Dirac printers are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors (color printers available on 2nd floor). Printers are connected to computer kiosks of the respective floors. Printing requires the use of an FSU card with a positive balance.

Strozier Library

B&W printers are located on the lower level, main, second, and third floors.
Color printers are located on the main floor

Copiers are located on the second floor.

Dirac Science Library

B&W printers are located on the lower level, main, and upper floors.
Color printers are located on the main floor

Copiers are located on the lower level.

How to Print

Printing from your personal computer

The Office of Business Services provides instructions on how to print from a personal computer.

Retrieving your print job

Print documents selecting either FSU myPrint B&W or FSU myPrint Color

  1. Enter your FSUID
  2. Go to any Print Release Station
  3. Enter your FSUID at the release station Prompt
  4. Swipe your FSUCard in the card reader next to station
  5. Select documents(s) to print from the list displayed
  6. Bottom of the screen displays FSUCash balance & cost of printing (10¢ for b&w, 25¢ for color)
  7. Select print
  8. Take your printed documents from printer
  9. Jobs in your queue will be purged from the system after 2 hours

Scanning

Scanning is free in FSU Libraries. Flatbed/feeder scanners, microfilm/microfiche scanners, and book scanners are located throughout Strozier and Dirac Science Library.

Standing (KIC) scanners are available throughout FSU Libraries:

  • Strozier Library - Main floor, adjacent to the Scholar Support Desk
  • Dirac Science Library - Main floor, directly across from the Starbucks cafe
  • FAMU/FSU Engineering Library
