Bradley Grant
The Robert B. Bradley Library Research Grants supports the research and creative endeavors of our faculty while developing our library's world-class collections.

Harper Research Grant
The Harper Research Grant provides support for research in any collection managed by FSU Libraries Special Collections & Archives. Awards are funded by an endowment established by Dr. Kristine Harper, professor of history and philosophy of the Earth sciences at the University of Copenhagen, scholar and former Professor of History at Florida State University. The Harper Research Grant funds travel expenses of up to $3000 for non-FSU graduate students, post docs, early career scholars, and/or independent researchers whose work would benefit from in-person access to our collections.

START Program
The START program can help guide you through the archival literacy and project management training process.
Community Digitization Partners

FSU Libraries partnered with the City of Tallahassee’s John G. Riley Center and Museum of African American History and Culture and Tallahassee State College (TSC) on a grant to digitize the Riley Archives held at TSC.

The First Baptist Church has been a cornerstone in Tallahassee for many years. Due to the church’s close proximity to FSU, it also holds the stories of many of our students over the years who participated in the Church while calling Tallahassee home.

The Havana History & Heritage Society was established to preserve and highlight the historical assets and events that have made Havana an exceptional community in which to live, have a business, and visit.
