A Special Collections & Archives staff member will be in contact to discuss potential delivery dates. We try to fulfill all requests within 14 business days; however, it can take up to 30 business days based on staff availability. If you have a request which needs to be expedited, please make that clear on your request form. We cannot guarantee we will be able to meet that request but will try to do so.
Please be aware that in order to ensure the long-term preservation of our materials, Special Collections & Archives reserves the right to limit the number of copies made, to select the method of duplication, and to decline to make copies of, especially fragile or important items. Patrons are limited to requesting up to 200 pages from manuscript collections and up to 5 books per semester. Also, due to copyright restrictions, even if using for educational/research purposes, no more than 30% of a book, journal, manuscript collection or other work may be requested. Special Collections & Archives staff will be in touch if there are questions regarding these limitations and your request.
We deliver requested files via email or NiFTy, the FSU file transfer system. If you need an alternative method of delivery, please note that in your form.
All files digitized will be deleted from our server three months after delivery. Please make sure to back up your files.
