Visit Strozier Library or Dirac Science Library to access software on loaner laptops, desktops, and in-library use Virtual Desktops.

You can find computers on all floors, except for the Dirac 1st floor, and Strozier 4th and 5th floors. If you are an Engineering student, you can find FAMU-FSU College of Engineering provided software on the 3rd floor of the Dirac Science Library and the basement of Strozier Library. Please see the support desks if you have difficulty locating a specific software.

How to access FSU Libraries Virtual Desktops

To access software on a Virtual Desktop, locate a Virtual Desktop monitor on any floor of Strozier or Dirac and login with your FSUID and password, then select the desktop you wish to use.

Virtual Desktop Options:

  • ADA Desktop: Select to use Microsoft applications, browsers, and Adobe Reader
  • Basic Desktop: Select to use Microsoft applications, browsers, and Adobe Reader
  • Multi-Media Desktops: Select to use Adobe Cloud applications
  • Scientific Desktop: Select to use scientific software, such as SPSS, SAS, and MATLAB
